FAQs

Padel is a doubles racket sport played on an enclosed court roughly one-third the size of a tennis court, surrounded by glass and mesh walls that are part of play. The ball can be played off the walls, producing longer rallies. Scoring follows tennis conventions, but the underarm serve and smaller court make it far more accessible for beginners.
Start with a round or teardrop-head racket in the 355–370g range. Our Green Padel and Red Padel rackets are designed with the beginner in mind - a larger sweet spot gives more control while technique is developing. Avoid rackets over 380g.
Yes. Our padel balls are slightly smaller and run at lower internal pressure, producing a slower, more controllable bounce suited to the enclosed padel court. Using tennis balls in padel significantly changes the game and is not recommended.
Entry-level padel equipment is very reasonably priced. A padel racket and a tube of padel balls is enough to begin playing. Costs increase for higher-performance rackets but the sport does not require the same initial investment as tennis.
Padel-specific shoes are designed for lateral movement on padel court surfaces. For recreational play, any non-marking court shoe works on most indoor surfaces. Most facilities require non-marking soles - confirm with your court before your first session.
